About me

Born and raised in the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex in Texas, David Joshua Golden is an aspiring artist with a love for digital visual mediums that communicate potent stories and ideas. Currently pursuing a double major in Arts and Technology and Emerging Media and Communication at the University of Texas at Dallas, DJ hopes to create photos and videos with a meaning, a message, and a purpose.

Aside from his creative pursuits, DJ has several other interests and hobbies. He enjoys literature, Broadway musicals, movies, and video games when he is not playing with his camera equipment. DJ's favorite books include Crime and Punishment, East of Eden, and Mere Christianity. His favorite musicals are Les Miserables, Hamilton, The Great Comet of 1812, and In The Heights. His favorite food is, without a doubt, goldfish.

DJ currently works as a freelance videographer/photographer, while also doing the same type of work part time at the school of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at the University of Texas at Dallas. DJ's plans after finishing college is to travel the world, taking videos and photos while at the same time raising money for charity as well as awareness for those in need.
